Liana Sananda Gillooly

Liana Sananda Gillooly is a leading voice for the alignment of purpose and impact in fields of change. Through fourteen years of engagement in drug policy reform & advocacy, including six years of leading fundraising & strategy for the Multidisciplinary Assoc. for Psychedelic Studies (MAPS), the leading global organization in psychedelics, Liana helped transform the landscape of psychedelic medicine while holding a mirror of accountability up to the field. Today, she supports companies and nonprofits working to reimagine what it means to heal, taking a holistic approach that includes not only the services offered yet how an entity choses to operate. She offers her services as a consultant and public speaker.

Liana served on the board of Chacruna Institute for Psychedelic Plant Medicines. She currently serves on the Lykos board advisory committee for impact and public benefit. She is a former advisor to the Indigenous Recirprocity Initiative. Liana has offered consultation and advisory services probono to over a dozen organizations, companies, and investors in the psychedelic, humanitarian, and climate sector.

Liana has been a voice for the responsible integration of psychedelic practices into mainstream culture and markets and in the new economy movement as a featured speaker at SXSW, SOCAP, TEDx, Summit Series, Future Frontiers, International Conference on Psychedelic Research, and over twenty other conferences and seminars. She has lectured MBA students at UC Berkeley and UCLA as well as Graduate School of Design students at Stanford. She was a core contributor to the creation of Psychedelic Science 23, the largest psychedelics conference in history. Prior to her work at MAPS, she helped build the prominent cannabis investor network and market research firm the Arcview Group.
